You can organize documents photographed with a smartphone, scanned materials, photos of whiteboards, product images, illustrations, and more into a single PDF suitable for emailing or archiving.You don’t need to convert each image to PDF individually; you can reorder the pages while reviewing the selected sequence before exporting.

You can choose from A4, Letter, A3, and Legal for the PDF paper size.Orientation isn’t limited to fixed portrait or landscape modes; it can also automatically adjust to match the aspect ratio of each image. Margins can be selected from 0 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, or 20 mm, allowing you to adjust them to suit your needs—whether you want to display photos larger or ensure appropriate margins when printing.

There are two image placement options: Fit and Fill. Fit scales the image so that it fits entirely within the page, making it suitable for documents or screenshots where you don’t want any part of the image to be cropped."Fill" scales the image to cover the entire page, reducing white space; however, if the aspect ratio of the image differs from that of the page, parts of the top, bottom, left, or right may be cropped. Choosing the appropriate option based on your intended use before outputting will help you create a PDF that is easy to read.

Adjusting image quality can reduce the file size of images embedded in a PDF.When compiling a large number of photos, lowering the quality slightly reduces the PDF file size, making it easier to share. On the other hand, for screenshots or documents containing fine print, selecting a higher quality setting helps maintain readability. Since the original images themselves are not altered, you can regenerate the PDF as many times as needed by changing the settings.

Processing takes place within the browser; selected images are never uploaded to the SoupPot! Tools server.Even when handling personal photos or internal company documents, you can work without sending data externally, unlike with typical upload-based conversion services. However, loading a large number of very large images may consume a significant amount of your device’s memory and CPU resources. If necessary, split the images into smaller batches or use Image Resize or Image Compressor to reduce their file size before converting them to PDF.

How to Convert Images to PDF

1. Click "Select Image" or drag and drop images to add the images you want to convert to PDF. You can select multiple images at once.
2. Check the page order in the image list. You can reorder the cards by dragging them or using the up and down buttons. You can delete individual images as needed.
3. Select paper sizes such as A4 or Letter, orientation, margins, and "Fit" or "Fill." Adjust image quality and background color as needed.
4. Click "Create PDF." Depending on the number of images and their resolution, this may take a little time.
5. Review the results and save them by clicking “Download PDF.” You can also change the settings and generate them again.

Important Notes for Use

• You cannot use image formats that browsers cannot load. Formats such as HEIC may not be supported depending on the environment.
• When a GIF animation is loaded, only the single frame that is currently displayed is included in the PDF.
• Processing a large number of high-resolution images at once can increase memory usage on your device and slow down processing.
• If you select "Fill," part of the image may be cropped to fit the paper's aspect ratio. If you want to keep the entire image, select "Fit."
• The PDF generation library is loaded from an external CDN. If the library cannot be retrieved due to network or browser restrictions, PDFs cannot be generated.

Which image formats are supported?

Supports common image formats such as JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF that can be loaded by the browser you are using. Some formats, such as HEIC, may not be supported depending on the browser.

Can you create PDFs in sizes other than A4?

Yes. You can choose from A4, Letter, A3, and Legal. You can also select portrait, landscape, or automatic orientation based on the image.

What is the difference between "Fit" and "Fill"?

"Fit" fits the entire image within the page. "Fill" fills the entire page with the image, but if the aspect ratio of the page and the image differ, the edges may be cropped.

Would you like to upload an image to the server?

No. Image loading and PDF generation take place within the browser; image data is not sent to the SoupPot! Tools server.

Can you reduce the file size of the PDF?

Reducing image quality may help reduce the size of the PDF file. If you want to reduce the file size even further, you can also compress the images beforehand using Image Compressor.

What happens to transparent PNGs?

Since PDF pages have a background color, transparent areas will be blended with the specified page background color. The default is white.

Can I use this on a smartphone?

Yes. As long as the device supports the required browsers, you can select images and create PDFs on smartphones and tablets as well. However, large numbers of high-resolution images may cause memory shortages.

Can the dimensions of each page in a PDF be automatically adjusted based on the image?

Yes. If you select “Auto-adjust to image,” the page will be laid out with landscape images in landscape orientation and portrait images in portrait orientation.

Can I make the image fill the entire page without any margins?

Yes. If you set the margin to 0 mm and select "Fill," you can position the image so that it covers nearly the entire page. However, part of the image may be cropped.

Will the original image be modified?

No. The original image will not be modified. Since the system simply generates data for the PDF within the browser, you can create it as many times as you like by changing the settings.
